- Wash your hands well before preparing the feed.
- Sterilize the bowl and spoon in boiling water for 10–15 minutes.
- Now, boil drinking water and let it rest until warm.
- Pour the warm water into the serving bowl and add the prescribed number of scoops of Dexolac Premium 2 Follow-Up Formula (as per the age of the baby).
- Stir it well and feed the baby with the sterilized spoon.
- Unboiled water, unsterilized bowl and spoon, or incorrect dilution may endanger infant’s health.
- Prepare only one feed at a time.
- Use prepared feed immediately (within half an hour), otherwise microbial deterioration may set in.
- Discard unused feed.

- First stage infant formula and second stage infant formula are nutritionally the same. The difference between them is the type of protein that is used. - Stage 2 formulas are intended for older babies, from six months onwards, and are also known as “follow-on formulas.” Although they are very similar to Stage 1 formulas, they have slightly more protein and different amounts of certain nutrients, in order to supply babies with the proper nutrition they need at this age.
- It contains more of the casein and less of the whey protein and forms a thicker curd in the stomach which takes longer to digest and so stage 2 milks are often marketed as being for hungrier babies.
- You can use stage 1 formulas from 0-12 months old. From 6 months, you can choose stage 2 or follow-on formula.
